About Channel Dynamics
Channel Dynamics is a rapidly growing boutique research firm and market intelligence data platform. Our entrepreneurial team is establishing our firm as a global leader in primary research for top institutional investors. We deliver differentiated, thoughtful insights to a select group of private and public equity investors, produced under a rigorous compliance framework that clients trust. Our analysts work closely with clients to produce high-impact market intelligence, supported by tech-enabled, AI-informed tools that enhance depth, speed, and decision-making. We are a lean, high-performing team that moves quickly, holds ourselves to a high standard, and takes genuine pride in the quality of our work.
About the Role
Associates are at the core of our success. You’ll research and map industries and sectors, talk with private company executives every day, and turn what you learn into reports that our professional investment clients rely on. This role suits someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do: you’ll find the right question, chase it down, and keep going until you have an answer worth reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and map industries. Build a clear picture of sectors, companies and competitive landscapes, and spot the trends that matter.
- Talk with executives every day. Pick up the phone and speak with private company leaders about what they see in their markets. Keep asking follow-up questions until you understand the root cause.
- Turn findings into insight. Write clear, sharp reports for institutional investors.
- Uphold our compliance standards. Follow our compliance framework on every call and in every report, and never seek, accept or share material non-public information (MNPI).
- Manage client relationships. Work directly with existing clients, understand what they need, and help shape the research we deliver to them.
- Build better ways of working. Create and use AI-enabled workflow tools that support our research process, and contribute to data and technology projects across the firm.
Who We're Looking For
We hire people who are savvy, proactive, inquisitive and tenacious:
- Savvy: You read situations well, you’re comfortable with executives, and you can tell a meaningful signal from noise. You care about markets and investing.
- Proactive: You take ownership, spot opportunities and act without waiting for instructions. You’d rather make the call than send another email.
- Inquisitive: You’re intellectually curious and want to build deep expertise. You keep asking questions until you reach the real answer.
- Tenacious: You’re gritty and resilient, and you stay focused on results. You do well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and go the extra mile to get things done.
You’re an ambitious, early-career professional who writes well, communicates clearly and wants a role that will challenge you. In our fast-paced startup environment, your work will make a visible difference from day one.
