About the Role

Ojas OceanEdge supports ship owners, managers and yards with calibration, troubleshooting, service and spares for marine electrical and automation systems. We’re growing our technical team and looking for a hands-on engineer who wants to build a strong career on board ships and in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with onboard service, troubleshooting and commissioning of marine electrical and automation systems
• Calibrate sensors, transmitters, gauges and control instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow)
• Fault-find on alarm monitoring systems, control panels, switchboards, motor starters and PLC-based controls
• Read and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals
• Prepare service reports, calibration certificates and job documentation
• Support spares identification and technical queries from clients
• Travel to ships at port, anchorage and shipyards as needed (India and overseas)

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or ETO certification
• 0–3 years in marine, offshore or industrial electrical/automation work (freshers with strong fundamentals welcome)
• Basic understanding of PLCs, instrumentation, 440V/230V AC and 24V DC systems
• Comfortable with multimeters, calibrators and insulation testers
• Willing to travel and work on board vessels at short notice
• Good written and spoken English

Good to Have

• Exposure to ship systems: main engine remote control, boiler controls, OWS/ODME, alarm monitoring, generator/PMS
• STCW basic safety courses
• Valid passport and CDC
