Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer Intern to join our team at Manabi. This opportunity is ideal for undergraduate students who have a passion for graphic design, visual storytelling, and digital creativity. As an intern, you will work closely with our marketing and product teams to create engaging visual content that communicates the Manabi brand effectively across digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in designing for a technology-driven student product, developing creative concepts, and building a professional design portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing graphics for social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Create promotional creatives, banners, posters, and marketing materials.
• Develop engaging visual content to showcase Manabi's features and updates.
• Assist in designing app-related graphics, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
• Contribute to brand identity development, including logo refinements and visual assets.
• Experiment with typography, layouts, colour combinations, and creative design concepts.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to transform ideas into effective visual communication.
• Incorporate feedback and make design improvements while maintaining brand consistency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (preferably in the 2nd or 3rd year of college).
• Strong interest in graphic design, creativity, and visual communication.
• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
• Ability to create clean, engaging, and visually consistent designs.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and incorporate constructive feedback.
• A portfolio of previous design work, college projects, or personal creative work will be an added advantage.

Application Task (Mandatory)

As part of the application process, candidates are required to complete a short UI/UX evaluation task.

• Download Manabi – The Student App from the Microsoft Store.
• Explore the app and its features thoroughly.
• Identify at least 3 areas for UI/UX improvement.
• Explain each suggestion, why the change is necessary, and how it would improve the overall user experience.

Submission Guidelines

• Prepare your suggestions in a PDF document.
• Include screenshots, sketches, or design references wherever relevant.
• Submit the UI/UX evaluation PDF along with your updated resume as part of your job application.
