About InstantDM
InstantDM helps creators and businesses grow on Instagram by automating DMs. It sends replies to comments, story replies and messages on its own, so brands can turn engagement into leads and sales without typing every reply.
About the Role
You will join a small team and work across all of our marketing, not a single channel. In week one you will be writing. By month two you will own blog posts, SEO tasks and small ad campaigns from start to finish, and you will see the numbers each one brings in.
What you'll do
- Blog and content writing
- Write blog posts a week on Instagram growth, DM automation, lead generation and creator marketing.
- Research keywords and plan each post around what people actually search for.
- Write landing page copy, comparison pages, how-to guides and use-case pages.
- Update older posts so they stay accurate and keep ranking.
- On-page SEO
- Write title tags, meta descriptions, headings and image alt text.
- Add internal links between blog posts, feature pages and pricing.
- Find and fix broken links, thin pages and slow pages with tools like Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights.
- Add schema markup (FAQ, How-to, Article) with the dev team.
- Off-page SEO
- Build backlinks through guest posts, outreach, resource pages and partner sites.
- List InstantDM on SaaS directories, review sites and tool roundups.
- Answer questions on Reddit, Quora and creator communities where it genuinely helps.
- Track backlinks and referring domains every month.
- Paid ads
- Set up and run Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and Google Ads campaigns with a senior marketer.
- Write ad copy, brief creatives and set up A/B tests.
- Watch spend, cost per signup and ROAS every day, and pause what isn't working.
- Set up retargeting audiences and conversion tracking.
- And more
- Plan and post on Instagram, LinkedIn and X, including Reels scripts and carousels.
- Write email newsletters and onboarding emails.
- Help with product launches, Product Hunt and affiliate outreach.
- Send a weekly report on traffic, rankings, signups and ad results from Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.
What we're looking for
- Must have
- Strong written English: clear, simple and free of errors.
- A basic understanding of SEO: keywords, on-page vs off-page, and how backlinks work.
- Comfort using ChatGPT, Claude or similar AI tools to draft and research, plus the judgment to edit the output.
- Available full-time, in office, for 6 months.
- Final-year student or recent graduate in marketing, mass communication, English, business or a related field (a degree is not required if your work shows the skill).
- Nice to have
- A blog, Medium page, newsletter or Instagram account you've grown yourself.
- Hands-on time with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush or Ubersuggest.
- Any experience running Meta or Google ads, even with a small budget.
- Basic Canva or WordPress skills.
- Interest in creators, Instagram and SaaS products.
