About the Role
Crossing Infotech is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Intern for a full-time remote internship in India.
- Duration: 1 to 3 months
- Stipend: INR 14,500 to INR 16,000 per month
- Work Mode: Remote
- Location: India
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update prescription details, patient information, and medicine orders in pharmacy software or spreadsheets accurately.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory records, stock levels, batch numbers, and expiry dates, and report low stock or near-expiry items.
- Review prescription and medication records for missing details, errors, and formatting issues.
- Prepare medication lists, drug information sheets, and patient medication guidance material under supervision.
- Support the preparation of pharmacy SOPs, quality checklists, and compliance documents.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, data privacy, and confidentiality standards in all records.
- Prepare daily and weekly pharmacy operations, sales, and inventory reports in Excel.
- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, medicines, and drug classifications.
- Basic understanding of medication management, dosage forms, and prescription terms.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and record keeping.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, or MS Office.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and spoken English communication.
- Candidates must have a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of pharmacy management software or billing systems.
- Familiarity with drug schedules, generic and brand names, and storage requirements.
- Basic understanding of pharmacy regulations and Good Pharmacy Practice.
- Any pharmacy course, certification, or internship experience.
Qualifications
- Students and recent graduates in D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Pharm, B.Sc (Life Sciences, Chemistry) or any related field.
- Freshers interested in building a career in pharmacy and healthcare operations.
