Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

As an Infrastructure Specialist in Platform Engineering Services, you will act as a trusted advisor to Client IT, providing expertise in infrastructure, security, and risk management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality technical support, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adhering to process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and Resolve Incidents: Analyze and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring prompt restoration of services. This involves identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and verifying resolution.
• Provision and Deploy Infrastructure: Provision, deploy, configure, and migrate infrastructure products to meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to services.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance overall IT resilience.
• Manage and Support Infrastructure: Manage and support infrastructure products, ensuring they are running at optimal levels, meeting performance and security requirements, and adhering to process compliance.
• Ensure Process Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure-related activities are performed in accordance with established processes and procedures, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Infrastructure Management Experience: Experience with managing and supporting infrastructure products, ensuring they are running at optimal levels, meeting performance and security requirements, and adhering to process compliance.
• Incident Analysis and Resolution: Experience in analyzing and resolving infrastructure-related incidents, identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and verifying resolution to minimize downtime and ensure prompt restoration of services.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Experience with conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance overall IT resilience.
• Infrastructure Provisioning and Deployment: Experience in provisioning, deploying, configuring, and migrating infrastructure products to meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to services.
• Process Compliance and SLA Management: Experience in ensuring that all infrastructure-related activities are performed in accordance with established processes and procedures, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Advanced Security Knowledge: Experience with security technologies and risk management principles to provide expert advice on infrastructure security and risk mitigation.
• IT Service Management: Experience in IT service management frameworks and methodologies, such as ITIL, to ensure high-quality technical support and process compliance.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, such as provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure products.
