About the Role
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. This role involves boosting vendor compliance, cutting savings erosion, improving discount capture using preferred suppliers, and confirming pricing and terms prior to payment.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting of goods and services through requisitioning, purchasing, and receiving.
- Manage the order sequence of procurement and the end-to-end financial process.
- Handle the systematic management of incoming invoices, including verifying accuracy, matching with purchase orders and delivery receipts, and initiating the payment process.
- Apply relevant processes, policies, and applications for accounts payable activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and processing of invoices.
- Manage purchase and non-purchase orders.
- Perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices.
- Solve routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
- Work with detailed instructions on all tasks.
- Decisions made impact your own work and are closely supervised.
