About the Role
This requisition may be filled as either an Associate Systems Test Engineer (T01) or a Systems Test Engineer (T02). The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division, located in Huntsville, AL.
Key Responsibilities
- Review test procedures.
- Develop statements of work for test events.
- Identify resources to aid test execution of ground support equipment.
- Support primary test execution coordinator in developing concept of operations (CONOPS) in support of a test event.
- Support basic system administration and cybersecurity activities for test and ground support systems.
- Other duties as assigned by test execution lead and/or supervisor.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Qualifications
For an Associate Systems Test Engineer (T01)
- Be completing or have completed their bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Be majoring in or have majored in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
For a Systems Test Engineer (T02)
- Be completing or have completed their master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Be majoring in or have majored in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications (for both T01 & T02)
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience.
- Leadership and teamwork capabilities.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Involvement in professional, community, or extracurricular activities.
Salary Range
- Associate Systems Test Engineer (T01): $62,200 - $99,200
- Systems Test Engineer (T02): $79,600 - $119,400
