About the Role
- Cybersecurity Analyst Intern role focused on VAPT, Penetration Testing, and Offensive Security.
- Opportunity to work with a cybersecurity team to identify, validate, and report security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing VAPT on web applications, APIs, networks, and operating systems.
- Conduct manual security testing based on the OWASP Top 10.
- Use tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, and Postman.
- Document findings with clear evidence, impact, and remediation recommendations.
- Support vulnerability retesting after fixes are implemented.
- Follow ethical hacking guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Hands-on exposure to Burp Suite, Nmap, or similar security tools.
- Basic understanding of networking, HTTP/HTTPS, Linux, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with common vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, XSS, broken access control, and insecure file upload.
- Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and penetration-testing methodology.
- Strong interest in ethical hacking and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Students pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Candidates pursuing relevant cybersecurity certifications or courses may also apply.
- Must be willing to learn, perform hands-on testing, and work from the office in Kothrud, Pune.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Internship Terms
- Duration: 6 months (January 2027 to June 2027)
- Stipend: None
- Training Charges: None
- Location: Kothrud, Pune (Full-time, Work From Office)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 05:30 PM
- Weekly Off: Saturday and Sunday
