Junior Python Developer

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role that combines responsibilities across AI Generalist, Junior Python Developer, Generative AI Associate, AI Model Evaluator, and Web Developer functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Python scripts and APIs to support AI workflows.
• Integrating AI models into web applications.
• Collaborating on the design and implementation of generative AI solutions.
• Evaluating AI model outputs against defined criteria.
• Performing data preprocessing.
• Documenting experiments.
• Contributing to prompt design and model fine-tuning.
• Building and improving web interfaces.
• Troubleshooting issues.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical work with educational product needs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational programming skills, including Python development.
• Basic API integration.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• AI and machine learning fundamentals, including understanding of model evaluation, data preprocessing, and exposure to generative AI concepts or frameworks.
• Web development skills, such as experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and working with modern front-end or back-end frameworks.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to debug issues, interpret model behavior, and work with structured and unstructured data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in distributed teams, document technical work clearly, and incorporate feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, basic DevOps practices, or educational technology products is beneficial.
