About the Role
Switch and Click is a tech YouTube channel seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to help grow their writing team. This is a remote contract role with a payment of $40 per screening call.
Key Responsibilities
- Run 25-minute video screening calls with writing applicants.
- Lead a short live exercise where candidates explain a tech topic and respond to feedback.
- Score each candidate on a shared sheet, providing a brief note to justify each score.
- Advance or reject candidates based on clear criteria, and flag borderline cases.
- Record each call with candidate consent and file it for review.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- U.S. based and available during Central time business hours.
- Experience with Notion and Google Meet (Nice to have).
- Familiarity with YouTube or tech content (Nice to have).
Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting, HR, interviewing, or another people-facing role.
- Good judgment about people, with the ability to assess engagement, coachability, and genuine curiosity.
- Comfort sticking to a consistent process to ensure fairness for all candidates.
- Friendly, warm demeanor, capable of providing a great candidate experience.
