About the Role
Love turning raw footage into videos people can’t stop watching? This internship puts you in the editor’s seat on real content that goes out to real audiences. You’ll edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram and YouTube, using both traditional editing skills and AI tools to create content faster and better. You’ll work on live projects from day one and see your edits go public.
Key Responsibilities
- Editing Reels, Shorts, and long-form videos from raw footage.
- Cutting and arranging footage, removing dead spots, and keeping the pacing tight.
- Creating strong hooks and openings that grab attention in the first few seconds.
- Adding captions, subtitles, transitions, music, and sound effects.
- Using AI tools to speed up video creation and editing.
- Formatting videos correctly for Instagram and YouTube.
- Working with talking-head, educational, promotional, and podcast-style content.
- Making revisions based on feedback and delivering on time.
What You'll Learn
Hands-on experience in short-form and long-form editing, retention-focused storytelling, AI-powered video workflows, and delivering polished work to deadlines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must own an Apple MacBook. This is non-negotiable.
- Video editing skills and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging content.
- Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Comfortable using AI tools for video creation and editing.
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, and audience retention.
- Reliable with deadlines and open to feedback.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
No prior professional experience required, just skill and the right attitude.
