About the Role
Compass Group USA is seeking a Credit Analyst Intern for the Summer 2027 in Mobile, AL. This is a hybrid, paid internship position.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify accounts receivable information from contracts and load into SAP.
- Monitor units on written repayment plans.
- Perform maintenance within SAP Accounts Receivable system.
- Work with operations regarding uncollectable amounts.
- Provide accounts receivable data to field staff upon request.
- Assist with billing reconciliations.
- Work closely with accounting regarding accounts receivable issues.
- Assist with 180-day write-off report.
- Prepare journal entries as needed.
- Special jobs and projects as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SAP
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access)
Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree as a rising Junior or Senior in Accounting or a similar undergraduate program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficient in MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access).
- Demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills vital to work in a diverse environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency regarding time management and meeting target dates.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to lead multiple projects.
- Self-directed, proactive, and curious.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing factors and conditions.
- Curiosity about the hospitality and service industry.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative work style.
