Program Associate, BIM

About the Role

At Novatr, we are bridging the gap between AEC education and industry evolution by helping professionals understand and work with the future of the industry. As a Program Associate - BIM, you will be instrumental in building this learning experience, working closely with industry mentors, learners, and internal teams to create practical, relevant learning experiences connected to industry advancements. You will apply your understanding of AEC and BIM to learning, research, program execution, and problem-solving, gaining a broad perspective of the industry and its shapers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build better learning experiences:
• Collaborate with mentors and internal teams to create assignments, activities, and learning materials.
• Translate technical and industry concepts into clear and useful learning experiences for professionals.
• Contribute to curriculum structuring, presentations, and documentation.
• Review and enhance learning experiences based on learner feedback and industry needs.
• Stay close to where AEC is heading:
• Research current AEC team workflows and their evolution.
• Explore emerging technologies, tools, and approaches impacting the industry.
• Integrate relevant industry observations and ideas into programs.
• Experiment with improved teaching and program delivery methods.
• Work closely with people:
• Collaborate with industry mentors and professionals to integrate real-world context into programs.
• Interact with learners to understand their challenges.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth program progression.
• Resolve learner and program-related challenges with ownership.
• Own program execution:
• Support end-to-end execution of learning programs.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate across mentors, learners, and internal teams.
• Identify gaps, solve problems, and improve processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A strong foundation in BIM.
• Genuine, hands-on familiarity with:
• BIM workflows
• Revit
• Navisworks
• Understanding of how these tools and workflows are actually used and the ability to apply that understanding thoughtfully.

Qualifications

• Likely background as an architect, civil engineer, structural engineer, or from a related built-environment background.
• Experience working on projects and curiosity about the industry beyond traditional project roles, or
• Earlier in career with a strong foundation in BIM and curiosity to understand the industry beyond software.
• Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and contribute to building new initiatives.

• Experience creating presentations, documentation, or learning content.
• Exposure to AI or productivity tools.
• Experience coordinating projects, teams, or stakeholders.
