About the Role
An Application Developer: Cloud FullStack role at IBM Consulting involves building long-term client relationships and collaborating worldwide to help leading companies shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. Curiosity and challenging the norm are encouraged to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Applications: Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
- Apply DevOps Methodologies: Utilize DevOps methodologies and tools for efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate on Cloud Environments: Work with senior practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
- Integrate Multiple Technologies: Integrate multiple technologies, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cloud Application Development: Developing and deploying cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
- Multi-Layered Application Development: Working with multiple layers of application development, including front-end technologies such as Angular, React, CSS3, and HTML5, and back-end technologies such as Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, and Groovy.
- DevOps Methodologies: Utilizing DevOps methodologies and tools for efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.
- Cloud Environment Maintenance: Working with cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
- Technology Integration: Integrating multiple technologies, including REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases.
Qualifications
- Preferred Education: Master's Degree
- Cloud Security Knowledge: Implementing cloud security measures, including network security and access control.
- Advanced DevOps Tools: Working with advanced DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Multi-Cloud Environments: Designing, building, and maintaining multi-cloud environments, focusing on uptime, scalability, and automation.
