Essential Job Duties

• Level I - Minimum:
• Manage designated technology application portfolio (configuration, maintenance, monitoring).
• Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on small projects.
• Work within defined IT processes and procedures, including the company’s internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC).
• Serve as liaisons between technical and business departments to meet all requirements and targets.
• Work under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.
• Consult with senior peers on non-complex projects.
• Apply basic application management and administration skills with moderate proficiency.
• Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation for break/fix ticket resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Level II – Fully meets Level I responsibilities plus:
• Manage designated technology application portfolio (reengineering, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring).
• Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on medium and large complexity projects.
• Work within and assist with management of defined IT processes and procedures, including SDLC.
• Work with little to no supervision with extreme latitude for independent judgment.
• Consult with senior peers on medium to large complexity projects.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to peers for areas of expertise.
• Apply proficient application management and administration skills with moderate proficiency.
• Senior – Fully meets Level II responsibilities plus:
• Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on large complex projects.
• Work with little to no supervision with extreme latitude for independent judgment.
• Consult with senior peers on large complexity projects.
• Proficient in all levels and phases of application development and support.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• .NET Framework experience.
• Database experience utilizing the .NET Framework.
• Knowledge and management of System Development Lifecycle Methodologies is a plus for Level I.
• Experience using and applying System Development Lifecycle Methodologies for Level II.
• Proficiency with PC based software programs, including project management tools, MS Project for Level I.

Qualifications

• Level I - Minimum:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training.
• Up to 3 years of successful application & system development and management.
• Analytical, motivated, and ability to learn new technologies and applications.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Goal-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Keenly attentive to detail.
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
• Preferred Experience (Level I):
• SQL Server or Oracle.
• Leading projects, developing and administrating Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): STARLiMS, Harvest, Copia.
• Leading projects, developing and administrating Specimen Management Systems.
• Leading projects, developing and administrating Lab Instrument Interfaces connecting instruments to LIMS.
• Working knowledge of HL7 standard and coding.
• Knowledge of testing laboratory operations and processes is a plus.
• Corepoint.
• Developing and administrating ERP and CRM or other software systems: GreatPlains, SalesForce, Carevoyant.
• Level II:
• Minimum of 3-7 years of successful application & system development and management.
• Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to medium to large size software implementations.
• Senior:
• 7+ years of successful application & system development and management.
• Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to large size software implementations.
