Summer Internship 2027

About the Role

Join InterSystems for a paid summer internship in Boston, Massachusetts. You will work closely with mentors on software development projects, gain in-depth knowledge of InterSystems products, and refine both technical and non-technical skills.

Program Details

• Start Date: Tuesday, June 1, 2027
• Duration: 12 Weeks (concluding Friday, August 20, 2027)
• Location: Boston, MA office
• Training: Acquire in-depth knowledge across various InterSystems products and business lines.
• Mentorship: Receive guidance from a formal project mentor and a team of mentors.
• Networking: Connect with peers and InterSystems staff through informal gatherings and social events.
• Career Opportunities: Successful interns may be considered for future internships or full-time roles after graduation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside accomplished developers and tackle real-world challenges.
• Complete a 9-week project focused on software development (with 3 weeks of training).
• Participate in all required training sessions.
• Create and present a project presentation to senior leadership and staff at the end of the internship.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be available to be in-person at the Boston, MA office from June 1 through August 20, 2027.
• Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C, C++, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, or similar.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Physics, Math, or similar STEM discipline.
