About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support security operations, identify potential threats, monitor systems, and help protect organizational data and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network and system activities for potential security threats.
- Identify vulnerabilities and assist with security assessments.
- Analyze security alerts, logs, and incidents.
- Support vulnerability management and risk assessment activities.
- Assist with security documentation and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve security practices.
- Help implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of network security and information security concepts.
- Knowledge of operating systems, databases, and security fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
- Network security and vulnerability assessment
- Python or PowerShell
- Cloud security (AWS or Azure)
- Risk assessment and incident response
- Security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
Qualifications
- Master's degree completed in 2026 or candidates graduating in 2026.
