Junior Architect

About the Role

The Junior Architect role at MESA MAISON is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves supporting senior designers in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and refining design details for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The Junior Architect will assist with 2D and 3D documentation, material research, and coordination of architecture, interiors, and landscape elements to ensure cohesive project outcomes. The role requires a strong interest in thoughtful, functional, and future-ready design aligned with the studio’s core pillars.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting senior designers in developing architectural concepts.
• Preparing drawings and refining design details for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Assisting with 2D and 3D documentation.
• Material research.
• Coordination of architecture, interiors, and landscape elements to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Collaborating with project teams.
• Updating design packages.
• Supporting basic project management tasks.
• Participating in site visits to review progress and design implementation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in architecture and architectural design.
• Ability to contribute to concept development and detailed drawings.
• Basic understanding of project management.
• Basic understanding of integration of architecture, interiors, and landscape elements.
• Proficiency in standard architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
• Willingness to learn new digital design platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent accredited qualification.
