About the Role
The Associate Consultant - Assurance role is part of Assurance's purpose to inspire confidence and trust in a complex world by protecting and serving the public interest, promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence and economic growth, and nurturing talent. This role supports clients by ensuring accounts comply with requisite audit standards, providing a robust perspective to audit committees, and delivering critical information for stakeholders. Service offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO and other public offerings, and Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in querying and analyzing large financial datasets using SQL to support audit and assurance procedures.
- Skilled in automating data extraction, reconciliation, and analytical workflows using Python.
- Advanced Excel capability for financial modeling, data validation, and reporting of audit findings.
- Working knowledge of Angular for building or enhancing front-end tools that support assurance and advisory workflows.
- Exposure to Docker, Azure, and AI-driven tools for deploying scalable and efficient accounting analytics solutions.
