About the Role
This position is located onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with engineers, technical writers, logistic support personnel, and system engineering organizations.
- Collect and document system architecture.
- Develop applicable technical manuals in accordance with defined standards and contractual requirements.
- Support the development of hardware and software technical documentation for end-user Technical Manuals.
- Ability to travel within CONUS ~20%.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- DoD Clearance: Secret (Active and existing security clearance required after day 1).
- XML markup language (preferred).
Qualifications
- A University Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with developing technical documentation and technical writing.
- Experience working with engineering documentation.
- Experience in military systems and/or technical manual standards (preferred).
- Well-organized self-starter.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Good communication and technical skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with other organizations.
