About the Role
Public Storage is hiring for a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager position. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions.
- Sell packing and moving supplies.
- Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
- Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
- Assist customers with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
- Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel between work locations and for work-related business.
- Ability to transport and lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to walk in/around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Qualifications
- Experience from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments is required, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour.
Schedule: Flexible and full-time schedules available between 9:30 am and 6 pm (weekends until 5 pm).
Mileage reimbursement is provided.
