About the Role
The Social Media Marketing Intern (UNPAID) will support the planning, creation, and scheduling of content across social media platforms, helping to grow brand awareness and engagement. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability, proactive communication, and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching trends.
- Drafting posts and captions.
- Assisting with basic graphic or video content.
- Monitoring comments and messages.
- Compiling performance metrics for review.
- Collaborating with the marketing team on campaign ideas.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions.
- Contributing to content calendars aligned with brand objectives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing.
- Ability to create and adapt Social Media Content Creation to different platforms and audiences.
- Basic understanding of Marketing principles and online brand positioning.
- Clear, professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) and current digital trends.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Comfort with using content scheduling tools.
- Basic design or video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar) is a plus.
- Relevant coursework or personal projects in marketing, communications, media, or related fields are beneficial.
