GEO AEO SEO marketing Intern

About the Role

Renergy Technologies is seeking a full-time, remote SEO, AEO and GEO Intern in India. The internship runs from as soon as possible to December 2026. This is a performance-driven role for self-starters focused on improving renergytech.com's visibility in Google and in AI answers.

Key Responsibilities

• Research the core question behind each page by analyzing Reddit threads, Google's "People also ask" boxes, technician forums, and manufacturer manuals.
• Draft pages using AI tools within the content system.
• Review all pages before publication, verifying figures against sources, correcting AI errors, and identifying potential issues for refrigeration technicians.
• Optimize pages for answer engines (AEO and GEO), including direct answers, FAQ blocks, structured data, and internal links.
• Track performance in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4), monitoring impressions, clicks, positions, and AI answer citations.
• Conduct small experiments (e.g., new titles, FAQ formats, internal links) with a hypothesis, metric, and written result.
• Submit a short report twice weekly detailing shipped content, progress, and upcoming plans.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Self-starter mentality: ability to take a brief, ask questions proactively, and deliver without constant supervision.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration cycles (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and defrost cycles.
• Knowledge of SEO basics: search intent, keyword mapping, page structure, structured data, and how AI answer engines select sources.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Experience running at least one data-driven experiment.
• Clear, plain English communication skills.
• Daily use of AI tools and an understanding of their limitations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering students who have completed a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning course are a good fit.
• Nice to have: Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Ubersuggest analysis.
• Nice to have: Comfort with editing JSON or HTML and running Python scripts.
• Nice to have: HVAC or refrigeration coursework or internship experience.
• Nice to have: Experience writing for a technical or business audience.

Stipend and Logistics

• Dates: Full-time, from as soon as possible to December 2026.
• Stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month.
• Location: Remote, from anywhere in India.
• Hours: Requires a few hours of evening overlap (IST) each week for calls with Toronto.
• Team: Direct work with the founder.
