Job Title: Part Time Paid Intern – Life Help Disability Support
About the Role
- A 12-month paid internship in the Life Help division of the Priesthood and Family Department.
- Position is from January 2027 through January 2028.
- Typically requires up to 20 hours per week, primarily on-site, with minimal remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Special Programs and Services Manager in the Priesthood and Family Department.
- Tasks include:
- Writing
- Researching
- Interviewing
- Answering calls
- Supporting advisory group work for members with disabilities and their families.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excellence in writing
- Communication skills
- Disability awareness
- Sound understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy
- Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- Ability to give careful attention to detail and sustain concentration for long periods
- Ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, OR
- Recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within 12 months of beginning internship).
- Must be available, at own expense, for possible in-person interviews in Salt Lake City if selected as a finalist.
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
