About the Role
This is a fixed-term position for a Compliance Associate/Sr. Compliance Associate within the Supplier Onboarding & Governance team. The team functions as an extension of the Americas-based Supplier Onboarding & Governance team and is responsible for supporting the end-to-end supplier onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform compliance checks on vendors to required standards.
- Check all ID and required insurance for temp workers and self-employed contractors.
- Accurately record and update vendor and resource data in client VMS.
- Onboard new suppliers of temporary workers and contractors, ensuring agreement to and signature of standard commercial terms.
- Liaise with and escalate to the local Onboarding & Compliance Specialist where complex negotiations to terms occur.
- Meet SLAs for all work baskets.
- Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with SOPs and meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Engage with US stakeholders via email and calls for issue resolution and discussions.
- Provide support across all Hays Business Solutions teams to improve their knowledge and processes.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of work delivered by following agreed quality checking guidelines.
- Aim to achieve work completion times as defined in the SLA.
- Demonstrate Hays Values.
- Ensure all activities align with Hays brand values.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic Excel skills.
- Client VMS
Qualifications
- Fresh Graduates in any non-technical discipline for Associate level.
- Minimum 1 Year of experience for Sr. Associate level.
- Good written English communication skills.
- Average verbal communication skills.
