Role Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience as a Finance Intern. The purpose is to provide meaningful professional experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Ideal candidates will utilize and further develop technical and soft skills (i.e., communication), business knowledge, analytical techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on experience in finance.
- Utilize and develop technical skills.
- Utilize and develop soft skills, including communication.
- Apply business knowledge.
- Employ analytical techniques.
- Engage in creative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Finance or Accounting related discipline.
- Planning to complete a minimum of 3 Accounting classes before graduation.
- One 3-4 credit hour accounting course must be cost accounting.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Nice to Have
- On-Campus leadership positions.
- Member of school or national organizations in Finance or Accounting.
- Previous work experience in finance or accounting related positions.
- School and/or work experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, & Power BI).
