About the Role
We're building out the Finance and Fund Accounting team at RRA Capital and are looking for someone ready to own fund-level cash management, leverage facility support, and liquidity reporting across multiple investment vehicles - helping to shape how our treasury function runs as the platform grows. You will be:
- Moving real money on real deadlines, not reconciling it after the fact.
- The direct point of contact for our banks, custodians, and lenders.
- Part of a small, high-performing team where your work directly impacts outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash across multiple funds - transfers, wires, and journal entries.
- Prepare and process capital calls, distributions, and management fee payments.
- Own day-to-day bank and custodian relationships for wires, transfers, and account setup.
- Track borrowing base availability and support drawdowns, repayments, and lender reporting under fund credit facilities.
- Reconcile bank activity to fund accounting records - including loan-level activity from Servicing - and resolve variances fast.
- Build and maintain cash flow forecasts and liquidity reporting that inform investment and financing decisions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close with cash reconciliations, schedules, and audit documentation.
- Find and fix what's inefficient in treasury operations - process, controls, and reporting tools.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel proficiency.
- Proficiency with financial systems.
- Experience with accounting or treasury platforms preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional Experience: Entry level experience or strong interest in treasury, fund accounting, or financial services.
- Attention to Detail: Strong reconciliation and documentation skills; ability to spot and resolve variances quickly.
- Analytical Ability: Comfort with building and maintaining cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
- Team Orientation: Ability to collaborate with Fund Accounting, Finance, and Servicing teams.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience with private equity, real estate investment funds, or private credit structures.
- Location: Based in Phoenix, AZ, or relocating.
