Last Minutes Deal is a specialized marketplace for last-minute stays, connecting travelers with nearby hotels, resorts, villas, camps, motels, and other accommodations with last-minute availability. Our platform helps travelers discover and book nearby stays on short notice while enabling accommodation providers to maximize occupancy through time-sensitive inventory. We are building a technology-driven platform focused on simplifying discovery, improving booking experiences, and making spontaneous travel more accessible.
Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Full Stack Developer Interns who want hands-on experience building and scaling a real-world technology platform. You will work on our live web platform, contribute to product development, build new features, solve technical challenges, and collaborate with the team to improve the overall user experience.
Technology Stack
- Frontend: Next.js, React.js, JavaScript
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js
- Database: MongoDB
- APIs: REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js and React.js.
- Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, and data management.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Develop new features and improve existing platform functionality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with the product and business teams to understand requirements.
- Take ownership of assigned development tasks and deliver them on time.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for building real-world products and learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.
- Students pursuing or graduates of Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields are welcome.
- Personal projects, GitHub contributions, or previous development experience will be an advantage.
