Vitacure India is a tech-enabled platform transforming at-home caregiving. We connect families with verified caregivers for elderly care, infant care, and post-operative support, built on flexibility, dignity, and trust. Our goal is to make quality care accessible and personal for families across India.

About the Role

We’re looking for a UI & UX Research Intern to help us deeply understand the people who use Vitacure: families booking care, patients receiving it, and caregivers providing it. Your insights will directly shape how we design the app. This is a remote internship working closely with our product and design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews and usability tests with families, patients, and caregivers, including elderly and less tech-savvy users.
• Map key journeys such as finding, booking, and trusting a caregiver, and identify pain points.
• Analyze app feedback, reviews, and user behavior to uncover patterns.
• Benchmark competitor caregiving and healthcare apps.
• Turn findings into personas, journey maps, and clear recommendations.
• Support the design team in testing wireframes and prototypes, with a focus on accessibility and ease of use.
• Document and present research findings to the team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Student or recent graduate in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field.
• Understanding of UX research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and affinity mapping.
• Working knowledge of Figma and Miro or FigJam.
• Empathy and patience when speaking with users from different age groups and backgrounds.
• Comfort communicating in English and Hindi or Telugu (helpful for user interviews).
• A portfolio or case study showing your research process (academic projects welcome).

Nice to Have

• Interest in healthcare, eldercare, or social-impact products.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
