About the Role
The Machine Learning Intern will support the development and evaluation of machine learning models for educational and training applications. This is a remote internship role, offering flexible collaboration with Weskill’s technical and educational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and preprocessing data.
- Experimenting with algorithms.
- Implementing model prototypes.
- Analyzing performance metrics.
- Documenting workflows.
- Preparing technical reports.
- Collaborating with mentors to translate learning objectives into practical ML solutions.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Algorithms.
- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with Deep Learning methods and frameworks.
- Solid grasp of Statistics for data analysis and model evaluation.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in ML (such as Python) and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Ability to learn independently, follow technical guidance, and collaborate in a remote environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and clear written communication.
