Role Summary
- This is a bucket application for Rivian’s 2027 internship programs.
- If selected, you will receive communication with specific responsibilities and qualifications for the role you are being considered for.
- Internships are experiences optimized for student candidates.
- To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 through Spring 2029.
- Requires active student enrollment.

Qualifications
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited university.
- Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in computer science or similar.
- Understanding of software engineering concepts and theory.
- Direct exposure to 1 or more programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node, Go, Java, C++, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model).
- Fundamental Cybersecurity knowledge and Technical Skills such as Cloud Security, Application Security, or Network Security.
Pay Disclosure
- Hourly range for Palo Alto based applicants: $33.00 - $51.00
- Hourly range for SoCal based applicants: $26.00 - $45.00
- Hourly range for Normal or Plymouth based applicants: $25.00 - $40.00
- Benefits include paid vacation, paid sick leave, and medical insurance benefits.
- Internship positions are not eligible for retirement benefits.
