Junior Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Digital and Social-Media Design
• Create social-media posts, carousels, stories, digital advertisements, WhatsApp creatives, website banners, and marketplace graphics.
• Develop product-focused and campaign-specific designs.
• Adapt approved creative concepts across platforms, dimensions, and formats.
• Print and Promotional Design
• Design posters, danglers, stickers, leaflets, standees, banners, brochures, presentations, and other marketing material.
• Prepare production-ready artwork with correct dimensions, resolution, colour settings, bleed, and export specifications.
• Coordinate artwork corrections and production requirements.
• Video Editing
• Edit supplied footage into product videos, advertisements, reels, and other marketing content.
• Handle footage selection, sequencing, pacing, captions, transitions, audio balancing, colour correction, and visual effects.
• Incorporate approved graphics, product images, logos, and music into video content.
• Deliver finished videos in required aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform formats.
• Maintain organized editing projects and source files.
• Brand Manual and Usage Guideline Compliance
• Follow the company’s brand manual, brand-usage guidelines, and logo-usage guidelines.
• Ensure correct use of logos, clear space, proportions, colours, typography, imagery, and approved brand assets.
• Maintain consistency across brands while respecting individual identities.
• Use current, approved pack images, product information, and claims.
• Flag unclear or conflicting instructions.
• Packaging and Artwork Support
• Support packaging-artwork development, adaptations, mockups, and revisions under the Senior Designer’s direction.
• Accurately incorporate approved text, product details, and mandatory information.
• Maintain artwork versions and submit files for review.
• Creative Contribution
• Contribute visual concepts, design references, and content treatments.
• Stay informed about design trends and assess their suitability for the brand and consumers.
• Explain design choices and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Quality Control and Asset Management
• Check spelling (Hindi and English), alignment, product details, image quality, and technical specifications before submission.
• Maintain organized editable files, linked assets, exports, and version records.
• Use approved photographs, fonts, music, and other assets in accordance with usage permissions.
• Delivery and Coordination
• Complete assignments within agreed timelines and communicate progress.
• Apply consolidated feedback accurately and flag delays or missing inputs promptly.
• Follow the company’s review and approval process before publishing or releasing artwork.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mandatory Skills:
• Expert proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Canva.
• Demonstrated video-editing proficiency using a professional editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or an equivalent tool.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to produce accurate Hindi and English layouts using approved copy.
• Understanding of digital-output and print-production requirements.
• Attention to detail, creative judgement, willingness to learn, and ability to work with feedback.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or recognised professional qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
• Portfolio demonstrating digital design, print design, and edited video work. Academic and personal projects are acceptable for freshers.
• Selection will include a practical assessment of the mandatory software and video-editing skills.
