About the Role
We are looking for a Junior AI Artist & Video Editor with a good eye for visuals, a strong sense of edit rhythm and an interest in AI filmmaking. You will work with our senior creative and production team to turn scripts and references into finished films for advertising, branded content and social platforms. Your work will cover generating images and video, assembling edits, maintaining visual continuity and preparing final deliveries. We’re looking for someone who enjoys experimenting, understands what makes a shot work and can follow an idea through to a polished edit.
Key Responsibilities
AI Generation & Visual Development
- Create AI-generated images and video shots from scripts, storyboards and visual references.
- Write and refine prompts to achieve the required look, action, camera movement and mood.
- Apply an understanding of composition, lighting and camera language to each shot.
- Maintain consistency in characters, products, wardrobe, environments and lighting across scenes.
- Improve generated outputs through iteration, retouching, enhancement and basic compositing.
- Test new tools and share useful techniques with the team.
Editing & Finishing
- Edit AI-generated footage, live-action footage and stock into clear, engaging films.
- Shape pacing, transitions and narrative flow to suit the story and platform.
- Spot and address AI artefacts, flicker, morphing and continuity issues, seeking support when needed.
- Handle colour correction, basic grading, upscaling, titles, supers and subtitles.
- Create cutdowns and adaptations in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 formats.
- Incorporate feedback accurately and check picture, sound, text and export settings before delivery.
Sound & Voice
- Source suitable music and sound effects from approved platforms.
- Generate and edit AI voiceovers, following direction on tone, pronunciation and delivery.
- Synchronise audio and build simple soundscapes that support the film.
- Handle basic audio cleanup, dialogue balancing and music levels.
Workflow & Delivery
- Follow established generation, editing and approval workflows.
- Keep project files, assets, prompts and versions organised.
- Track generation credits and use resources thoughtfully.
- Follow naming conventions, delivery specifications and production timelines.
- Flag technical challenges early and work with senior team members to resolve them.
- Contribute useful prompts, references and workflows to the team’s shared library.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Hands-on experience with at least two AI image or video generation platforms, such as Midjourney, Flux, Kling, Veo, Runway or Higgsfield.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
- Familiarity with InVideo for AI-assisted video creation and editing.
- Familiarity with Magnific for image enhancement and upscaling, with attention to preserving faces, product details and visual consistency.
- Familiarity with ElevenLabs or similar AI voice tools, and licensed music and sound-effect platforms.
- Understanding of visual storytelling, composition, continuity and edit rhythm.
- Ability to take feedback, explain creative choices and manage assigned tasks to deadline.
- Awareness of asset licensing, usage permissions and responsible use of brand assets and voices.
Good to Have
- Basic familiarity with ComfyUI/ Magnific and node-based workflows.
- Exposure to character and product consistency techniques.
- Experience with Topaz or similar video enhancement tools.
- Basic motion graphics, animation or sound design skills.
- An interest in workflow automation.
- Experience creating advertising, branded content or social videos.
Portfolio Requirements
Please share:
- Two or three finished films or video projects, preferably 15–60 seconds long.
- Examples showing your AI generation and editing skills.
- Work demonstrating character, product or environmental consistency across multiple shots, where available.
- A short breakdown of your contribution, tools used and how you resolved any creative or technical challenges.
Personal projects and experimental AI films are welcome. We want to see your visual judgement, storytelling ability and how you bring individual shots together into a finished piece.
