About the Role
NV5 is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Land Development group. This role focuses on the preparation of design aspects of a total work product and is not construction management-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of designs and reports
- Performing calculations
- Utilizing CADD/Civil 3D for design activities
- Maintaining familiarity with and ensuring compliance with applicable WMD, FDEP, local codes, and requirements
- Communicating with project teams, clients, and agencies
- Performing site visits as needed
- Attending external meetings
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Engineering focus will be transportation design
- Ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) for design activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering
- Up to three years of experience with transportation design
- Must have the ability to obtain PE Registration within five years of graduation
- Must pass mandatory DMV check
