About the Role

Xavirgin.com is seeking a Software Testing/QA Intern for a 3-month, fully remote, unpaid internship. This role focuses on ensuring raw software reliability and engineering bulletproof, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Robust Quality Systems: Design, write, and execute resilient test cases (manual and API) for complex web and mobile platforms.
• Drive Real-World Reliability: Hunt down complex edge cases, perform deep regression testing, and ensure zero-bug leakage into user-facing environments.
• Master Indie Software QA Operations: Experience firsthand how a modern indie software company operates—from rapid release cycles and Git/Jira workflows to lean quality assurance architectures.
• Integrate with Development Ecosystems: Bridge the gap between engineering and the end-user. Work directly with developers to reproduce, isolate, and eliminate critical system defects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Deep, practical knowledge of software testing methodologies (Manual, API, and an understanding of automation concepts).
• Hands-on experience with real-world projects (academic, freelance, or personal tear-downs where you actually hunted bugs and documented them).
• A self-driven problem solver who understands system architecture, data flow, and edge cases over generic checklist ticking.
• Rigorous, analytical testing approach capable of breaking production-grade software.
