About the Role
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics builds software and robotics solutions for fulfillment centers and delivery networks. Frontend applications are crucial for enabling warehouse associates, engineers, and operations leaders to interact with data and automation tools.
Role Description
As a Frontend Developer, you will design, build, and maintain user-facing applications for Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics. This is a full-time remote role. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing new features
- Optimizing existing components
- Integrating with backend APIs
- Writing clean, testable code
- Participating in code reviews
- Contributing to frontend architecture decisions
- Improving development workflows and best practices
- Monitoring application performance
- Addressing production issues
- Continuously enhancing user experience for internal tools and dashboards
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Front-End Development skills
- Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
- Component-based architecture
- Responsive Web Design
- Web Development (cross-browser compatibility, mobile-friendly interfaces)
- Software Development skills
- Proficiency in coding standards
- Version control (e.g., Git)
- Testing practices
- Debugging
- Back-End Web Development awareness (sufficient to integrate with APIs, understand data flows, and collaborate with backend teams)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, bundlers)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Attention to performance and accessibility
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in distributed teams
- Adaptability to an agile development environment
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in frontend development.
- Beneficial experience:
- Cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS)

- Internal tooling for operations and robotics
