About the Role

Root Labs is seeking a Junior Brand Designer & Content Assistant with a sharp visual eye, strong aesthetic sense, and a basic understanding of digital marketing. This role is primarily design-focused with additional light content execution tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design (Primary Responsibility)
• Create social media creatives (static posts, carousels, reels covers).
• Develop performance marketing creatives for Meta/Google ads (statics + video edits).
• Design website assets (banners, tiptiles, product feature graphics).
• Generate AI-based mockups & visuals using tools like Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, or similar.
• Light Marketing Execution (Secondary)
• Post content on Instagram (scheduling, captioning, hashtag hygiene).
• Assist with reels ideas and basic editing.
• Draft short copy lines for posts and campaigns.
• Coordinate influencer gifting and track replies.
• Update the content calendar with design assets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Premiere), Canva, and Figma.
• Experience with design for beauty, D2C, lifestyle, or minimal aesthetic brands.
• Comfortable with basic short-form video editing.
• Good eye for composition, typography, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Design graduate OR 0–2 years of experience in graphic or brand design.
• Familiarity with digital marketing.

Bonus (Not Required but Great to Have)

• Interest in skincare, beauty, or wellness branding.
• Familiarity with social media trends and creator culture.

Compensation: Rs. 25-35k
