About martai
martai is a small product studio in India building Android apps.
What you'll do
- Build features and fix bugs across our Android apps (Kotlin and Jetpack Compose), our Go backend and PostgreSQL database, and our websites and admin panels (Next.js and Astro).
- Take a change from the first idea to a release on Google Play: build it, test it on a real phone and keep an eye on it after it ships.
- Write code alongside AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and review every line before it goes in.
- Track down the crashes and bugs users report, find the cause and fix it.
- Build small internal tools: admin pages, scripts and dashboards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- You've built something real (app, website, backend, GitHub project) and can show the code or a live link.
- Solid basics in at least one of: Kotlin/Android, Go, TypeScript/React, or Python.
- Fundamentals: data structures, APIs, and databases.
- Comfortable with Git, the terminal, and debugging.
- Experience using AI coding tools and testing their output.
Bonus

A CS degree is not required; what you've built matters more.
Details
- Stipend: ₹10,000–18,000 per month
- Remote, from anywhere in India
- Full-time, 3–6 months, starting as soon as possible
