About the Role
Apex is seeking talented engineers for an internship opportunity. Interns will work closely with the broader engineering team, are passionate about engineering, ready to take ownership over complex challenges, and have a strong desire to learn about satellites. The 12-week internship program offers hands-on experience and professional growth, with a dedicated mentor and learning sessions.
Ground Software
- Work alongside engineers as a fully integrated team member.
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software that operates satellites.
- Tasks may include owning a scoped project and taking on tickets across the ground software stack.
Requirements
- Graduating in the Fall of 2027 or Spring of 2028.
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in a related field.
- Strong understanding of software architecture.
- Rust, C/C++ (for backend), or Vue/React (for frontend) experience is preferred.
- Spring interns may need to adjust academic commitments for the program duration.

- Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) OR be able to obtain required export authorizations.
