About the Role
This role contributes to the Process Automation Business in Bangalore. The work model is Hybrid.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Support the strategic technology direction by contributing ideas for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology, software, and solutions.
- Assist the Research and Development (R&D) team by executing assigned tasks and using technical knowledge in a structured way.
- Stay abreast of the state of the art and actively apply this knowledge.
- Configuration & Maintenance for Lab Network.
- Interaction with the IS team, whenever required.
- Interaction with DSAC Analysts in Bangalore to fulfill initial test setup under a time box.
- Overall maintenance of the DSAC lab, ensuring compliance with Safety and Security Parameters as per ABB guidelines.
- Maintenance of Inventory for DSAC LAB equipment and devices received for testing.
- Interaction with the Shipping team and SCM team to track devices shipped to the DSAC lab for testing.
- Performing security scans using tools Nmap, Nessus, and ISIC.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Networking Skills (debugging included).
- Firewalls configuration (Basic Knowledge).
- Familiarity with virtualization products (VMWare & Virtual Box).
- Embedded devices: Powering up, firmware updates, serial communication, troubleshooting LAN communication.
- Security tools: Nmap, Nessus.
Qualifications
- B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering.
- 0-2 years of working experience in the Network domain.
- TCP/IP (Basic Knowledge would be an added advantage).
