About the Role
The Melrose Georgetown Hotel is seeking a Sanitation Aide / Dishwasher.
Key Responsibilities
- Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain the dish machine.
- Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
- Wash pots and pans in the pot washer's area.
- Ensure all cleaning is performed to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping broken glass/dishes and mopping spills.
- Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use.
- Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
- Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and Safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties in other areas of the kitchen as assigned.
- Assist with plating banquet events when needed.
Compensation
- $18.40 Hourly (USD)
