Key Responsibilities

As a Management Consultant, you will:

• Conduct analyses and develop insights.
• Prepare Excel models.
• Analyze large sets of data.

Health Transformation (HT) Team Responsibilities

The HT team supports clients across healthcare by:

• Driving clients' strategic vision and objectives.
• Assessing market expansion and growth strategies.
• Researching key market trends and their impact on stakeholders.
• Driving operational and process improvements.
• Evaluating sustainable cost transformation alternatives.
• Enabling technology-driven business success.

Client Solutions within Pharma & Life Sciences

• Pharma & Life Sciences: Services span R&D operations and innovation, product development, product lifecycle management, project management, clinical resource management, due diligence, regulatory and governance, risk and compliance, internal audit, product launch & commercial planning, go-to-market strategy, patient support services, digital health, and portfolio optimization and management.
• Payor: Focuses on operational and performance improvement in core Payor functions, including designing future operating models, payment models, growth strategies, and functional/technical transformations. Services include benchmarking, process mapping and design, operating model design, project management, data and analytics strategy, technology effectiveness assessments, and market strategy.
• Provider: Focuses on developing, designing, and implementing organizational transformation to improve performance and generate lasting growth. Services include labor and productivity assessments, benchmarking, process mapping and design, operating model design, project management, technology effectiveness assessments, and market strategy.

• Essential:
• Strong understanding of the US Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences landscape, R&D operations, and clinical trial data management systems.
• Understanding of R&D operations business process and model covering portfolio, resource, and financial management.
• Understanding of R&D governance & executive reporting framework.
• Experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative benchmarking.
• Experience in decision analytics.
• Understanding of clinical systems validation and integration.
• Understanding of ETL data process, data pipeline development, migration, and data implementation across third-party tools.
• Experience with Project and portfolio management tools such as Anaplan, Eplan, CTMS, Planisware, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project Plan.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and any other statistical tools.
• Expert level proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite.
• Basic proficiency in cloud technologies.
• Proficient in at least one of the visualization tools like React JS, Figma.

Clinical Trial Strategy

• Essential:
• Strong understanding of the clinical trials landscape.
• In-depth knowledge/experience working in clinical trial design or strategy (drugs/medical devices).
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations to improve trial efficiency, quality, and patient safety.
• Ability to understand different therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, endocrinology, cardiovascular, rare diseases).
• Experience working with databases such as ClinicalTrials.gov, TrialTrove, EudraCT.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, particularly in United States and EU regions.
• Ability to contribute to the development and improvement of study processes, SOPs, quality control measures, and regulatory submission dossiers.
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct primary and secondary research.
• Ability to identify use cases of emerging technologies and their applications in clinical trials, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Expert proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite.

• Preferred:
• Experience working in clinical trial design or strategy- drugs/ medical devices (Protocol design, viability of trial sites, patient populations, decentralized trials, patient burden, etc.).

Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Strategy / Generalist

• Essential:
• Strong understanding of the US Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences ecosystem, key stakeholders, regulatory and market access landscape.
• Solid grounding in pharmaceutical pricing concepts including WAC, ASP, AMP, GTN drivers.
• Understanding of PLS datasets including EHR, claims data, prescription data, and patient-level longitudinal data.
• Experience in GTM strategy, launch strategy, LoE transition planning, brand strategy, drug lifecycle management.
• Experience in supporting AI tools development for pharmaceutical and life sciences use cases.
• Experience integrating strategy with advanced analytics use cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured strategic thinking.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear commercial implications.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling, scenario analysis, and executive storytelling.
• Proficient in one or more from the following skills: SQL, Python, Power Query, AWS/Azure.
• Preferred:
• Experience in supporting AI tools development for pharmaceutical and life sciences use cases.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Any one of the following academic profiles:
• MBA from a top-tier business school with demonstrated focus on strategy, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Advanced life sciences degrees such as MPharm, MS in Biotechnology, or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Clinical degrees such as MBBS or BDS combined with an MBA or equivalent management qualification.
