About the Role
The User Experience Intern will support the design team in shaping intuitive and user-centered digital products. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent collaboration with team members through digital tools and clear communication in a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with user research activities.
- Organize insights.
- Help translate findings into wireframes, user flows, and interaction patterns.
- Collaborate with designers on interface layouts and basic visual design tasks.
- Prepare design assets and documentation.
- Participate in design critiques.
- Iterate on feedback.
- Support usability testing and refinement of concepts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with common design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Active interest in Design Thinking, user-centered design principles, and current UX trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Foundational UX skills such as user research, journey mapping, and usability evaluation.
- Interaction and interface design skills, including wireframing, prototyping, and information architecture.
- Visual and communication design skills such as layout, typography, and clear presentation of design concepts.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in design, HCI, psychology, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior project or portfolio experience in UX/UI is strongly preferred.
