Description

The Customer delivers human capital management technologies and services, including data analytics. The Customer seeks to build an integrated enterprise IT support model to drive efficiencies and address strategic requirements for learning, training compliances, foreign language development and retention, job advertisements, selection, and performance. This role requires contractor support to provide end-to-end accessibility expertise, integrating digital accessibility into every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include reviewing, auditing, and enforcing accessibility compliance across UX design, UI development, and application engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with accessibility testing, with an ability to analyze complex technical issues related to accessibility and provide solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to document accessibility compliance efforts, findings, and recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, WCAG 2.1 AA (or higher) standards, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 39.2 standards.
• Demonstrated testing proficiency and expertise with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and ZoomText.
• Demonstrated experience with User Interfaces (UI) design and development.
• Demonstrated experience with principles of User Experience (UX) design with a focus on accessibility.
• Demonstrated experience with User Interface (UI) development best practices for accessibility.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD.
• Demonstrated experience integrating digital accessibility into every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating between design, engineering, and product stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and auditing digital products for accessibility compliance and enforcing accessibility standards across different development workflows.
• Demonstrated experience or ability to provide training on accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices to development teams and other stakeholders.
