Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Lawyer: Generalist, you will utilize your professional legal training and experience to provide expert advice and counsel on various legal matters and business ethics. You will also conduct and direct litigation across multiple areas of law.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Provide Legal Counsel on diverse legal issues in areas such as antitrust, administrative, commercial, communications, employment, environmental, and intellectual property law.
- Conduct and direct litigation proceedings.
- Develop Business Ethics Guidance, promoting compliance and responsible business practices.
- Manage multiple practice areas, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities, and tax law.
- Lead Legal Initiatives to enhance the organization's legal posture, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Professional Legal Training: Qualified to practice law.
- Litigation Experience: Experience in conducting and directing litigation proceedings.
- Multi-Area Law Expertise: Experience working with multiple areas of law, including antitrust, administrative, commercial, communications, employment, environmental, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities, and tax law.
- Business Ethics Knowledge: Experience in formulating and disseminating guidance on business ethics.
- Legal Leadership: Experience in leading and managing legal initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience:
- Commercial Law Expertise: Experience with commercial law, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
- International Law Familiarity: Exposure to international law.
- Government Contracts Knowledge: Experience with government contracts.
