Field Technician

About the Role

Enovate is an Engineering firm specializing in Construction Management, Transportation Engineering, and Monitoring services. This is an entry-level opportunity for a Field Technician to support geotechnical and instrumentation field projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation installations, inspections, maintenance, and removals for construction projects.
• Conduct field surveys as needed.
• Record site observations through detailed field notes, daily reports, photos, and logs.
• Manage, track, and maintain field equipment inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation Engineers and Project Managers for timely deployment of field equipment.
• Configure and update equipment using appropriate software tools; upload and organize data.
• Work with multiple clients, contracts, and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
• Travel to multiple project locations as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Associates or Bachelors in engineering or construction related field preferred.
• Some experience in construction or geotechnical field preferred.
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with client representatives.
• Basic computer programming and data management skills.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, climb, and walk continuously during an 8-hour period in varying climates.
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and reach.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, vests, and steel-toed boots, for prolonged periods.

Salary: $22 - $28/hour
