About the Role
Northrop Grumman has an opening for an Associate Contract Administrator (Level 1) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be based in Northridge, CA, Mesa, AZ, Plymouth, MN, or any NG onsite location. Relocation assistance may be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret contracts and enter into SAP Contract Setup Form.
- Analyze contracts to determine setup requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to collaborate on contract and setup requirements.
- Investigate and resolve issues, including billing labor category errors that impact business management reporting and billing.
- Interact with Contract Administrators and other stakeholders on SAP Setup.
- Lead formal and informal contract kickoff meetings.
- Communicate effectively to address key setup questions and avoid setup errors.
- Provide recommendations to contracts and business management to prevent issues with financial reporting, invoicing, and cash.
- Incorporate changes into the SAP S4 HANA system that reflect negotiated and agreed-upon contract parameters and guidelines.
- Support requests for data by programs, customers, and company management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SAP S4 HANA
- Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with no experience, OR Associate's degree with 4 years of experience.
- Understanding of government contracting.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage large sets of data and create pivot tables, charts, and graphs to summarize information.
- Proficient in contract set up within SAP S4 HANA (Preferred).
