About the Role

As a Junior Software Engineer (SW Engineer I), you will join a team responsible for delivering high-quality software for ATM Recycler/Deposit devices, specifically the Bill Validator module and its Currency Template software. This software verifies deposited media to identify genuine or counterfeit currency by analyzing note image attributes. Full training will be provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software to meet customer requirements within agreed timescales, with support from senior developers/technical team leads.
• Analyze and process data, identify, and develop solutions with assistance.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Participate in template update peer reviews.
• Estimate time for template development efforts with assistance.
• Communicate effectively with developers, the technical team lead, and QA.
• Ensure customer satisfaction targets are achieved.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in software development, preferably with C# / C++.
• Hands-on experience in .NET development environment.
• Experience in automation solution development.
• Good methodical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task.

Considered an advantage (though not essential):

• Use/awareness of bug tracking & version control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
