About the Role
Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Interns will choose between one of two sessions:
- Session 1: May 25 - August 13
- Session 2: June 14 - September 3
The Finance Internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting within a technology-driven environment. This role is ideal for students interested in fintech, corporate finance, and digital banking innovation. The intern will support the Investments/Treasury team across a range of analytical and process-improvement activities, gaining practical experience with how technology is applied in modern finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and documenting existing process maps and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and standardization.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of recurring and ad hoc reporting for the team.
- Gaining exposure to fixed income securities analysis, derivatives, and related investment processes.
- Leveraging finance and AI-based software tools for data analysis, reporting automation, and process documentation.
- Assisting in analyzing financial statements, performance metrics, and financial projection reports.
- Preparing dashboards and presentations for leadership using digital tools.
- Supporting the development of financial models for revenue projections and expense management.
- Helping update and maintain forecasting tools used in a fast-paced online banking environment.
- Working with large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborating with analytics teams to integrate financial data into decision-making processes.
